Essie Swatches

I'm back and I have lots to show you all! Below are some swatches of my recent Essie purchases.  I used seche vite as a topcoat on all of the polishes:

Essie- Smooth Sailing.

I had been drooling over this polish forever! The color is a lot darker than it looks in the bottle.  It is a dark periwinkle with a very hidden shimmer.  The formula was AMAZING! It's definitely a one-coater, I used 2 coats in the pictures below+ 1 coat seche vite top coat.

I used Essie- Matte about You to add a matte finish in the pictures below:

Next up is Essie- She's Picture Perfect.  It's a light purple/ lilac shade with EXTREMELY light/ almost invisable pink shimmer.  The shimmer is much lighter than it looks in the bottle.  The formula was ok, but I had some issues with bubbling.  You will need at least 2 coats to build up some type of shimmer and even the polish out.  I used 3 coats below:

Essie- She's Picture Perfect with the flash on.  The ring finger is completely representative of what the polish looks like.

Next up is Essie- No More Film.  The color on this polish is SPECTACULAR in the bright light.  It's very pretty in darker environments too, but one thing that I'm starting to realize is that dark polishes all tend to look the same until you see them under the light/ close up :/

Regardless, the color is gorgeous.  The formula is a little bit on the thick side but not goopy.  However, I noticed slight bubbling.  Does anyone know how to get rid of bubbling? It's a major pet peeve of mine.  This is also the type of polish that makes puddles in the cuticles and stains like crazy!  This polish is definitely a one-coater, but I had to add an additional coat to try and cover the bubbling.  Now, onto the pictures!

Without Flash- major tip wear going on :/

With OPI Crown Me Already on middle and ring finger.  I don't like this combo.

With the flash.  See what I mean about the bubbles?

What do you think of these shades? What are your favorite Essie Shades? More importantly, do you have tips about how to get rid of bubbles and tip wear?
